We have been advised to wear light colors during the Summer, but what about if you want to go against the rule and wear BLACK!
•
Here are some tips to wear black without even on the hottest days!
1️⃣ Fabric matter: Choose lighter fabrics like cotton, linen, silk, and viscose are going to be the best options
2️⃣ The best Fit: Wear wider and flowy silhouettes. I am sure you don't want to be hot plus fighting with a skin-tight fabric making the situation worse.
3️⃣ Distribute the Heat: Sounds silly but if you can wear black if you adapt it to your freshness and airy needs. For example, I tend to feel the heat more on my upper body so I will open to use a long black skirt but pair it with a black crop top to balance it all.
4️⃣ Black is Sexy, not boring: During the warmer month play with different styles, and instead of looking basic make it seductive.
5️⃣ Accessories: Rattan, straw, and wood are great materials to mix with black to make it look summery.

I was reading @instyle magazine this weekend and on their #trendreport they highlighted that sparkle, sequins, crystals will have a great impact on this F/W. ⁣

For me, metallics and sequins are basics but I understand it is not everyone's cup of tea. I found this @neverfullydressed set last year and I felt like I hit the jackpot. I have styled all S/S and can't wait to transform it for the colder months.⁣

Team Heels or Team Flats⁣

I guess I will say that I am Team Both!! Hahaha. ⁣
There are different misconceptions about it.⁣
Some people think that you can only wear heels to feel elegant and others think that Heels are so uncomfortable that they will never wear them. ⁣

My tips and comments:⁣
1️⃣ Choosing the correct size and style makes a difference. Plus, I assure you that if you miss this step, you will have another pair of shoes abandoned in your closet. Money wasted. ⁣
2️⃣ If it is your first time using a heal. Don't go crazy with the heel size. Start with a kitten heel or block heel. Also, don't forget to practice. You will throw away the elegance if you are having trouble walking.⁣
3️⃣ Pointy flats because elongate your figure and makes the outfit look polished. Round toe flats work better with a more casual look. But this always depends on each person's style. ⁣
