Finding toddler sandals that are actually cute AND Pediatric PT-approved? Almost impossible. 😅

As a mom, I just want him to look cute for summer. But as a pediatric physical therapist, I have a strict checklist for what goes on his feet. I am absolutely raving about these sandals from @stqkids_official because they check every single box:

✅ **Flexible sole:** Lets him easily get into that deep toddler squat to play.
✅ **Secure strap:** Keeps his foot perfectly in place so there’s no slipping on the stairs.
✅ **Wide toe box:** Gives those little toes plenty of room to splay and develop naturally.
✅ **Protective:** Keeps his feet totally safe, whether we’re hanging in the backyard or off-roading in the monster truck graveyard. 🛻

Back in my Pilates era! Here are some of my must haves!

Just because it’s getting hot outside doesn’t mean my PT shoe rules don’t apply.

When toddlers are running, climbing, jumping and just being toddlers, their shoes matter more than people think.

A few things I personally look for:
• Flexible soles (not stiff like little bricks 😅)
• Secure fit that actually stays on
• Good grip for playground chaos
• Lightweight enough for easy movement
• Room for natural foot movement

These sneaker sandals from @striderite checked a lot of boxes for us — and this guy has fully put them through the toddler stress test already 😂

Confession from a pediatric PT:

I spend all day telling kids to sit up straight…
and then I catch myself hunched over my laptop like a goblin.

This shirt basically does the gentle “hey bestie, shoulders back” reminder for me.
