A Valentine’s craft you’ll want to save for later❤️

We made these stained glass Valentine heart suncatchers with a simple black glue trick, and it turned into the sweetest slow afternoon activities (we ended up splitting this into two different days).

To make the black glue: mix 1/2 washable glue + 1/2 black acrylic paint, then shake really well until fully combined. Test it out on scrap paper first so you’re happy with the shade of black before starting the craft.

Draw hearts with the glue on clear plastic sheets and divide them into sections for a stained glass look. Once the glue is completely dry (we waited until the next day), let your kids color in the sections with colored permanent markers.

When everything is dry, cut them out, poke a small hole at the top, add yarn, and hang them outside as Valentine heart suncatcher ornaments! They look best on trees that get lots of sunlight.
