She has been potty trained for 4 months now and it was the BEST decision we made (especially since now I have a 3 week old newborn)! What a game changer!!

It has been good for us (no more diapers for her!) and good for her, because it helps her to create a sense of independence.

A little bit of how we decided to do her potty training:

Claire started to show interest to go potty when she was about 19 months old and that is when we started to have our potty talks to prepare her. It was interesting to see her kinda knowing already when she needed to pee and poop even on a diaper.

The first two days were not easy, because it was new for everyone. But on the third day she nailed it! She obviously has had accidents since the potty training, and she still wears pull ups at night and during naps (even though she barely pees in it).

We also have a diaper caddy in the car with the essentials (portable seat + flushable wipes and etc), and it has been amazing to have these especially when we are out and about.

I hope these items help you guys going through potty training!

Since we got back from the hospital, I tried creating a sleep routine for Chloe, and of course my own routine for pumping included. But for the last two weeks we decided on a night routine to help her to sleep better at night, without cluster feeding.

Having a sugar free toddler used to be really challenging for me because I would have to come up with different recipes, with complicated ingredients and instructions to make a snack for my toddler that most of the time didn’t even like it.
