Living in an area with HOT summers means pulling out alllll the open-ended toys for playtime! ☀️

I was honestly so impressed that spending two minutes pulling out these Keva planks from @mindwaretoys led to over 90 minutes of play!

What’s even better is they weren’t just entertained, they were engaged. Thinking, problem solving, getting creative, and actually using their brains. That’s why open-ended toys will forever be my favorite.

Thankfully our drive home was smooth and uneventful. This audiobook series kept everyone engaged on the 5 hour drive.

I’ll be the first to admit…I have the biggest sweet tooth! And while I enjoy the tastes of yummy treats, I often pay for the effects of them. Sugar crashes, sugar headaches, more sugar cravings, etc.

This has been one of my go to sweet treats lately that satisfies my sweet tooth, but is high protein, so it helps balance out the negative side effects.

This Cocoa Peanut Butter Powder from @pb2foods is the perfect addition to Greek yogurt to make a high protein chocolate peanut butter mousse.

I was feeling a little extra so I made some peanut butter whipped cream for the top layer and then topped it all off with mini chocolate chips. Because YUM!!

My boys love all things @numberblocks, so when I saw this Race to Pattern Palace game from @hand2mindinc, I knew it would be a hit!

Not only is it fun, it also works on many skills, such as color recognition, counting, pattern building, and fine motor skills! Which is always a double win.

Bubble foam is one of the first sensory bases I made years ago when my oldest was a toddler and it’s still a family favorite!

Just blend together tear free bubble bath and water! That’s it.

We added it some food coloring and Valentine loose parts for my boys to scoop out, but that’s totally optional.
