HOW TO WEAR A CROP TOP TO WORK AT THE AGE OF 34. The tutorial no one asked for and didn't know you needed is finally here. 🙋🏼‍♀️ ⠀ First of all, know that wearing a crop top at any age is a dangerous game. Wearing a crop top at my age to work is the MOST dangerous game. ⠀ Secondly, keep in mind I JOKE around a lot. Please do not attempt to wear a crop top at work if it is against your workplace dress code, against your better judgment, or it is winter. I work for a clothing designer in Florida. We have a lot of flexibility with our attire and weather. Would she prefer I not wear crop tops? Sure, but when your crop top is this good, you do it anyways. ⠀ I snagged this top by @soldout.nyc @launchpadcollective on a recent trip to #WestPalm and I’ve worn it far more times than I should have for someone in the “fashion blogger” game. I’ve posted it to stories more than once and here it is again. AND if we’re being honest it’s been worn even more than that, I just didn’t take pictures or videos so you wouldn’t know. ⠀ Side Note: It is intended to be a crop, but it could be a regular top on you. I’m 6 ft. tall and wearing an XS because I like to make people do a double-take 👀 and wonder if I’m an overgrown middle schooler or just an overgrown middle ager who takes a weird sense of pride in wearing clothes that don’t cover as much surface area as is generally socially acceptable. #Dangerous ⠀ BUT if you want to make this a work crop top, just do what I did and pair it with a slip dress by @madewell from @renttherunway. I threw it on top and knotted it because it’s Santa season and I enjoy making corny jokes like “Santa, I’ve been knotty” but that’s another tutorial for another day. 🎅🏻 ⠀ You could also wear the crop top under the slip dress for a conservative meets street-chic vibe. ⠀ That’s it.
