Styled with YSL inspired heels but works with sneakers or flats for game day movement. This dress is a denim material and very thick so no extra coverage needed under it. Intentional wide flare at hips. IMO runs slightly big but short. I’m wearing a size 4 but could have worn a 2. Back zip and it has POCKETS. Between you and me, today’s outfit was assembled with exactly 47% effort and 100% reliance on the “stripes are always chic” delusion. But here’s the thing about pattern mixing: throw some snakeskin pumps into the equation and suddenly you’re not doing time—you’re doing THAT.

The formula: Rag & Bone striped cardigan (Nordstrom, size S) + Anthropologie Colette pants in black linen (26 T, because tall girls deserve inseams too) + an oversized Anthropologie belt that I punched more holes into than my Monday morning ego + Just Fab snake print heels that scream “I’m awake and coordinated” even when I’m neither + Amazon jewelry doing the heavy lifting.

Pro tip: Invest in a belt puncher. Life-changing. Especially when you buy belts for all the sizes you’ve been or plan to be and need to bring them back down to reality.

Did I conquer Monday? Debatable. Did I avoid looking like I escaped from a very fashionable penitentiary? Also debatable. But we showed up, we pattern mixed our way to perceived competence, and honestly, that’s the real luxury.
