This DIY looked great at first… but it didn’t last. Missing hardware, chipped paint, and some bad prep meant it was time for a DIY Do-Over. So this is Episode 1. Stay tuned for Episode 2… it’s a really good one. Because sometimes the best DIYs start with fixing the ones that didn’t work the first time. Here’s what I did right this time: ✨ Clean with a degreaser + sand with 220 grit ✨ Prime with @zinsser BIN Shellac primer (wear a mask though… it’s smelly 😅) ✨ Add a topcoat to the paint — I used @minwaxusa water-based poly in satin ✨ Actually install the hardware so it’s not loose Comment BATHROOM for a link to everything I used
