I’ve walked all over Europe, NYC and Vegas wearing this slide sandal.

It’s also a great pool sandal. It can get wet and there’s no issue.

Five things I pack for Europe.

👗A lightweight black dress that can go from day to night. This one is under $50.

🩴Sandals that can handle 15k+ steps without making my feet feel tired, achy, or hot. These feel like you are walking on air. Super lightweight.

👜A hands-free, crossbody bag in all leather. This one has 3 compartments: 2 are zippered, and one is buttoned. And because it is all leather, it gets softer with every use.

⚡️A portable charger that is always with me. I love this one because I can see how much battery life the charger has, so I never run out of power on the go.

Welcome to another edition of First Class Fridays, where I share 5 of my favorite travel items.

This week’s picks:

👜 My all-leather catch-all pouch.  This holds all of my in-flight essentials and doubles as an evening clutch for nights out.

👖 My favorite travel pants are wrinkle-resistant, look polished and chic, and can rival any pair of pajamas in feel and comfort.

👙 Bras that feel like a second skin, are lightweight, breathable, and don’t leave any visible seams.  Plus, they provide great coverage.

🧥 A lightweight, packable rain jacket for those just-in-case moments when the weather turns.  The longer back covers your booty, and the sleeves can be tightened so rain can’t get in.  Also has a hood, which I love.

🪭And last, but not least, is my portable, rechargeable fan.  This gets packed for every trip I take during warm months or when I am traveling to warm destinations.  It’s under $10.  Holds a charge for a long time.  I’ve charged mine twice in a year, and I do a ton of traveling.

I stick with a color palette that allows all the pieces to work with others, so I can pack less while still not wearing the same outfit more than once.

The best walking shoes for NYC from a native NYC girl.

In NYC, I walk miles a day, and these are the shoes I rely on consistently to make sure my feet are comfortable, my back and hips aren't achy, and can handle 15k+ steps per day.

These are my non-negotiables for any beach vacation. Some may seem obvious, but many of these are simple, small things that don’t take up much room.

1. Collapsible water bottle to stay hydrated at all times, more so when I’m in the sun

2. Hardsided, double-compartment sunglass holder. I use this for my prescription glasses and my sunglasses. The hard shell keeps your glasses protected in your bag.

3. Portable, rechargeable fan. This gets packed for every warm weather trip. I use this at the pool and while sightseeing.

4. Hydrating lip balm to protect my lips from drying out

5. Hand sanitizer. I spray this on my hands and on anything around me. Plus it smells so good!

6. Oil free sunscreen that absorbs quickly

7. Lightweight travel umbrella that can be used to provide shade at the beach, pool or when standing on long lines in the sun. This has made such a difference in keeping me cool. Plus I always have it in case it rains.

8. A one-piece bathing suit that gives support and sculpts and doesn’t break the bank.

9. A tote bag that I can use for beach trips but can easily be used for market runs and errands in the summer.

We have a few trips coming up and I wanted to find a sneaker that would be comfortable, stylish and equally practical.

For our Europe trip, I wanted something waterproof because summer rain is fairly unpredictable and the last thing I want is wet feet.

The Vessy is cushioned, waterproof and can easily be wiped down. That’s a win!

The Reefs are the lightest weight sneaker I have ever tried. And I love the collapsible heel option. Plus the breathable mesh makes it perfect for hot weather.

I’ve been testing shoes for an upcoming trip to Europe and these both get my stamp of approval.

A lightweight, flat sandal that can go from day to night and has great flexibility. Plus it can get wet without a problem.

One black travel dress, styled multiple ways.

This is exactly the kind of piece I look for when I’m packing: stretchy, easy, packable, built-in bra, and versatile enough to go from sightseeing to dinner with just a few accessory swaps or added layers.

-Sneakers and a tote for day.
-A tee layered over it for a casual look.
-Kitten heels, a belt, and a denim blazer for night.
