Much as summer may be about dresses, the sun isn’t always shining and you do still need options for work and everyday so here is an edit of different trouser styles to think about for your wardrobe for the summer ahead:

Another workwear option and khaki is a nice alternative to blacks/navy for the summer.

Similar style to the blacks culottes and again lovely with the broderie.

Summer workwear options

These wide leg, high waist culottes are a great option.

Good if you’re curvier through thr bottom half to balance out thr hip/thigh.

Also nice if you are straighter to create some dimension and soften the lines of your silhouette.

High waist so great if you have a long torso.

Come in multiple colours including this season’s buttermilk.

Wearing XS. These would be a cropped length on someone taller! But I would poss need to shorten.

The broderie shirt is also lovely. Great for work and also with jeans 👖

I have bought for clients of different shapes/sizes/heights as it comes in petite and regular (not tall on the UK website) but also comes in plus sizes too.

There are a whole host of colour options from easy to wear neutrals like black as well as other brighter colours.

It also comes in denim in a couple of washes and also linen too - again in multiple colours. I’ve linked these too.

Super soft and very easy to dress up or down. Good for work/ holiday/summer etc.

I was wearing the regular so was possibly a bit long on me at 5ft2

A boring beige trouser or something you can dress up/down; something that works with colour and neutral alike, prints as well as plains and that works across the season… 🙌🙌

Another great wide leg fluid trouser. If you’re curvy definitely look at these styles as they will balance out the hips.

This is an XS and good on me as a 6.

Comes in lots more colours and the linen blend means it doesn’t crease as much

Obsessed with this colour!!

Flat fronted wide leg trouser with a side zip.

These come up large - wearing the XS and they are definitely too big for a 6 but they are a great trouser for summer.

Dress up/dress down.

Workwear to holiday, mini breaks etc..

Wearing XXS in all bottoms here and all tops apart from the in built bra styles which are in XS so I’d recommend sizing up in these.

There is 25% off at Boden until 27th April, then 15% on 28th and 10% on 29th so a great time to take advantage of this (although I would never suggest buying something just because it’s a bargain!! That is a definite no) - their dresses are always a client favourite as is their footwear.

I had annoyingly ordered these before the discount but they are a gorgeous colour - slightly obsessed with all these earthy tones.

Wearing a 6 short and think these are on the slightly more generous side. Length is good though

Lovely light summer trouser 🙌🙌 wearing the size 6 and they fit perfectly. Wait is pretty neat so unless you have a defined waistline you may need to size up but a great colour. Also in chocolate and other colours. I’m 5ft 2 so they are a touch long…
