This crop kick flare is a great style for wearing with a casual boot (it’s also brilliant with a smarter boot too) and a nice alternative to skinnies

Wearing Size 34 in both jeans. The black are neater fitting so you would need to size up in this colour.

Loungewear - that’s comfortable, looks good and is affordable 👌👌👌 Pieces you can wear for cosy weekends and working from home but that look good if you’re out and about too

Wearing 6 short

Comes in multiple lengths extra short to extra long
Inclusive sizing
Elastic waist and comfortable thanks to the elastane in the fabric
Machine washable

Size up if between sizes as the wait is neat and also if you carry your weight around the middle.

Comfortable longer for under £20

The M&S trousers I shared last week have more or less sold out so here is the other option I linked on the post which is under £20.

Pull on elasticated style in a heavyweight jersey
Multiple leg lengths
Inclusive sizing
Various colour options

Size up if between sizes
As the waistband is fairly neat even though it’s elasticated. Will particularly need to do this if you carry weight around your middle.

Wearing short but even at 5ft 2 I think they’re too short so I’d recommend going up a leg lengths

A satin skirt 🍇is a key component in my autumn wardrobe…

…. Because you can style it in so many ways for lots of different occasions - work, evening, casual.

… but they can be trickier for many shapes. This one, however is a brilliant style I’ve bought for lots of my curvier clients thanks to the way it’s cut.

I have on the XXS in this style and it is a very neat fit on me as a 6 so I’d suggest you may want to size up in this if between sizes.

How to look luxe for less…

1. Choose your fabrics wisely - this will make a huge difference. Natural fibres are often a better choice.

2. Dress head to toe in the same colour or tonally. And that does not just have to mean neutrals! Missing textures stops your outfit from looking flat.

3. Stick to 2/3 colours in your outfit for a pulled together look.

4. Add interest/personality with statement accessories

5. Use one piece to bring all elements of your outfit together. This could be a jacket or a scarf etc.

These are a great trouser that I’ve bought for clients - comfortable as they are made from ponte so have some stretch as it’s a heavy weight jersey.

Ideal smart casual style you can dress up for work or down for the weekend.

Come in two leg lengths. I have the short on. Would say they come up long but are supposed to be a full length trouser. Easy to shorten though.

The regular is a good length for my taller clients

I find it hard to find shoes that are comfortable enough to do the amount of walking I do!! But these fit the bill. Have walked miles in them and not one blister, no rubbing.

Although the Mary Jane isn’t my favourite trench and aesthetically I prefer a point but practicality trumps when it comes to footwear! I also find the strap helps with the fit and comfort

Chocolate and suede are two key trends for the autumn but they’re extremely wearable too and much softer than black.

It’s knitwear season 🧶

So keep in mind these three tips on sizing, storage and care to ensure the right fit and that what you buy lasts longer 🙌

Sweater - size up. I have the medium in the chocolate knit which is a much better fit on me than the small (I usually wear xs in Zara for ref)

The cardigan - this is a small and is a good fit on me. Would also work for an 8

The fabric shaver is a must have not just for your knits but great for coats too.

All storage and moth care are from total wardrobe care. I have also linked some of their other products which I also have and would recommend. I can’t find their hangers to link here so have linked similar

Today has quite literally called for a mix of summer and autumn and for once I was the right temperature!!

Brown tones paired with white for an autumnal nod that didn’t feel too summery or too winter!!

My silk cami is old but they still sell it and perfect under cardigans at this time of year. Also comes in other colours

Shoes super comfy. I’ve done well over 20,000 steps in them today.

Like the slightly relaxed fit on the cardigan. Wearing small.

If you saw my reel yesterday one of the jackets on it was an old Zara one and I had lots of comments asking me about it… but this one is super similar.
Wearing xs.
100% recycled polyester

The car coat is also similar to my old trench. This single breasted style is called a car coat and is a good option if you have a large bust as often traditional trenches are too stiff and have too much volume being double breasted plus too many details over the bust.

This one is also good if you’re petite as it’s neat fitting. Shorter length so good with summer trs and jeans but not so good for wide legged styles/skirts and dresses

If you’re after a suede jacket without the price tag then try these two at Zara. Wearing xs in both

The second one is bigger so I’d definitely recommend sizing down in it.

I stupidly got a medium in the grape one so it’s big on me but be aware of the dropped shoulder and how this changes your shoulder line.

I often recommend to clients to size down to mitigate against this.

The grey one is lovely too. Wearing xs in this.
