Unpopular Opinion: I like working in corporate America. Here are a few reasons a 9-5 is a great option - as a working Mom. Stability. A steady paycheck. Health and vision insurance. A company matched 401k. Work / Life Balance (I actually hate this phrase, but hear me out…) Entrepreneurship is an incredible option for some. But you are never “off”. You ARE the brand. It’s a 24/7 commitment. For the most part, I have pretty solid boundaries when it comes to work. I have worked hard on establishing these boundaries over the years. I have PTO. When I turn my out of office on, I am OFF. I leave work at work. If you are feeling less than for having a corporate job, don’t. Don’t let social media make you think it’s a bad thing. Its not. Stability. Balance. Those aren’t bad things.
