A fitted ribbed top + wide leg trousers + cosy shoes + a cap = one of those outfits that looks put together without trying too hard. Lounge wear can look scruffy but not if you wear it with the right clothing/accessories to compliment it.

Firstly…. Please can we appreciate the Ugg dupes for an absolute bargain of £18… honestly can’t cope. Why spend hundreds when you can buy these?

I tried to choose some of the most commonly worn clothing items that a lot of us already have… such as leggings, a fitted t-shirt, over sized fleece/hoodie/jumper… paired with chunky warm shoes and an over sized bag! So many ways you can mix and match outfits like these.

I’d wear this for coffee runs, errands, shopping, school runs, appointments… all the normal everyday stuff.

The Teacher Edit 🍎🤎

I have loved creating this edit so much + I’m going to do so many more. I worked in education for 10 years and know how important it is to look nice, proffesional AND feel comfortable.. school staff are on their feet for hours and hours.

So this is for the girlies who want to feel put together without looking too dressed up!

I wanted this edit to feel polished, practical and wearable for a full day; comfortable shoes, easy layers, proper bags and pieces that still make you feel like you when you’re standing in a classroom at 8am.

And I’m sorry but the first two looks?! I’m obsessed. 😭

If I was building a teacher wardrobe for autumn, I’d start with pieces like these… things you can mix, repeat and style differently rather than buying a completely new outfit every day.

Since becoming a mum again I now need outfits that can survive mud, snacks, tantrums… and still make me feel put together 😂🤪

This M&S jacket is exactly the kind of piece I love for autumn! Easy, comfy, practical, but still looks like you’ve made an effort…. Even though it took me 2.5 seconds to get ready 🙃

I wore it with leggings, wellies and a cap for the easiest toddler day out uniform. It’s also water proof which is a bonus.

I wanted to show how much wear you can actually get out of it.. dressed up for date night with a mini + knee-high boots, styled casually with jeans and flats, or somewhere in between for that really polished autumn look.

It’s the checked detailing for me 😭🤎 it makes it feel so much more expensive than a standard beige coat.

If you’re buying one trainer for autumn, I’d make it a pair of Spezials! Incoming essay …. 😆

I feel like they are the piece doing all the work in these outfits… I love how they take tailored trousers and make them feel instantly more relaxed and current without turning the whole look sporty.

I’ve styled two colourways here because I genuinely couldn’t choose between them:
🤎 the deeper brown pair with navy + chocolate
🤍 the lighter pair with taupe + espresso

For me, this is exactly the kind of autumn shoe worth buying because you can wear it with tailored trousers now, then jeans, knits and coats as it gets colder.

My fave is the checked brown pair. They look expensive, they’ll work with majority of anautumn wardrobe, and that checked detail is SO good.
