š”Can you believe it?! š” The transformation on this exterior still blows my mind a little. If I hadnāt been part of it, Iād probably scroll past thinking it was just a good filter. But nopestucco repairs happened (hallelujah), and then paint and shutters swooped in and completely changed the energy of the house. We didnāt have a huge budget to work with, so the pressure was on to make smart, high-impact choices. I wanted a color that felt warm and neutral- not too stark, not too cool, and definitely not the kind that leaves you saying, āremember the pinkish house?ā And the green for the shutters? A forever favorite! still green, still earthy, but soft enough to play nice with everything. The shutters and window boxes were the finishing touches I just had to have. They brought in that charm, that little bit of storybook welcome that made this place feel like home. Because letās be honestāshe started off a little rough around the edges⦠but now? Sheās kind of a dream.
