I was very hesitant to order these solar lights from Amazon because the price was so cheap — 12 lights for $35.98 🤯 But so far, so good! They’re still going strong after several weeks and even a snowstorm.

I will say though: if your yard doesn’t get enough sun, they’ll dim pretty quickly. After a few gloomy days, the lights were noticeably dim at night — but after one sunny day, they brightened right back up.

WEEK TWO ✌️

After forcing myself off my new couch (it’s dangerously comfortable—I keep sinking in and almost falling asleep), I tackled a bunch of yard work and cleared out dead bushes and plants.

This week also brought lots of deliveries—my new mattress and box springs arrived, and while I’m still waiting on bedroom furniture, I’m currently sleeping with just the mattress on the floor (very temporary 😅). My dining table from @target and dining chairs from @wayfair showed up too.

I’ve been cooking new recipes with my Blue Apron meal kit and making small upgrades around the house—like antique-inspired outlet covers from Amazon that instantly elevated the space.

I also learned the hard way that you cannot put bubbles in a jacuzzi tub… unless you want it overflowing in seconds 🫠.

Overall, it’s been a really good week. My house is starting to feel like home—even though I keep dreaming up a million more projects I want to tackle next!
