I love my Bella XL tote backpack for long-haul carry-on but for day touring, the mini was a perfect size. It fits everything I might need for the day and feels comfortable on - my choice was crossbody, sitting at the front when walking around a city.

I’ve never claimed to be a minimalist. Whenever I’m asked which size Vestirsi Bella 3-1 convertible bag I take for long-haul travel, it’s always the XL. I want all my “essentials” with me and the ability to go hands free. The option to wear this cult design as a tote and now as a crossbody is genius. And, yes, this size does fit under the seat in front of you.

For me, the original size doesn’t hold all I want to take with me - it’s such a personal thing. I am, however, packing the Bella Mini as it’s an ideal travel day bag size for my needs.

Click to read full caption. What I wore for four nights in Sydney for a work and friends/family visit.

Instead of planning out each outfit, this time I’ve packed a capsule of mostly separates that can be dressed up or down. The neutral colour palette of blue, white, black and chocolate means I can wear multiple combinations. Silk scarves (run don’t walk, these are on final sale for $29 at @veronikamaine_design).

Is the new Dyson Airstrait worth the hype? For me, it is. Even with a short bob hair cut, it saves me SO much styling time.

I timed the process when creating this video and it took just 17 minutes from wet to dry. Even though my hair is short, it’s very thick with a strong wave at the back, so it usually takes a lot of wrangling (or outsourcing to the pros!)

Apart from time saving, these are the things I also love:

✔️ The end result. It looks like I’ve used styling irons - it’s that smooth.

✔️ My hair will thank me for looking after it long term because the wet to dry styling is achieved through airflow, not heated plates.

✔️ I’ll save space in my suitcase for our upcoming Europe* trip with just one appliance to pack.

What the Airstrait won’t do is create wavy or curled looks. If that’s more your everyday hair look, then this device is not for you.

I’m in M with plenty of room - so do size down!

Jeans - my fave Henne style - I’m in 30. Could probably fit a 28 or 29 as this is a mid waist slouchy style.

It’s the small things really at this stage of the recovery game. Five weeks post surgery and yes, I’m going a little stir crazy. My current social life is limited to short walks and coffee catch ups with girlfriends.

Even without those catch ups, being intentional about what I wear each day has made a huge difference to my mental health by keeping some normalcy to my days.

Doubling down on denim is always fun. These two pieces work as they are tonal but with a slight contrast. Mind you, I’m very ok with a matching denim set too. Adding contrasts of tan and white keeps the look classic but modern.
