I think I had this same shirt in 1995 and I’m here for it! Also, after revolting against tights my entire life I have found a new love for them this winter. These over the knee tights from the brand From Rachel are my new favorites. They are soft, comfortable, sexy, and fun. I struggled to get tights to fit me well back when I was a kid and again as a teen and young adult but these are perfect. I’m obsessed. This feels so awkward to be talking about, but I’m going to talk about it anyway. I’m aging. We’re all aging. But one of my favorite party tricks is telling people that I have a son in graduate school and that I’m in my mid-forties.

I didn’t start taking care of my skin until I was 35 and already seeing the signs of sun damage and general aging. I still go in the sun and love having a tan, but I now wear sunscreen daily and have a twice daily skincare routine that is working to slow aging.

I’ve tweaked my routine several times over the years but there is one piece of the puzzle that I can confidently say is responsible for my skin looking so youthful. I stopped using it for about 9 months and not only did I notice but people around me noticed too, and not in a good way.

I sucked it up and bought my magic serum again and within two weeks I was getting compliments on my skin. Even the dermatologist was raving. I haven’t ever had any Botox and it’s been over a year since my last facial. This serum is not cheap but damn, it’s worth it to me. I’m not sure I can ever go without it again.
