The biggest reason? Because perfect doesn’t exist.

Reason #2-I don’t even know what a perfect Christmas would look like.

Reason #3-Creating a perfect Christmas would put so much pressure on me that it indeed, would not be perfect.

Reason #4-any vision of perfect is driven by movies, fairytales, Pinterest and social media. It is not real. It doesn’t mean that we can’t do iconic traditional activities. Just don’t expect a twirl and a dance in the kitchen, a gingerbread man everyday, and everyone to agree to your plan.

What keeps you from the “perfect” Holiday?

But I’m still excited about the season. It’s a shortened one. A weekend short for all the things to do. So better get your calendar out, get those tickets and reservations. Because it’ll be over before you know it.

I will so, I’m pretty good at perfect holiday outfits. So I’ll embrace that! I’ll call my holiday fashion a #sweetfringebenefit Because I’ll tell you, sometimes showing up to a party or an event is motivated by wanting to wear a cute outfit. I think that’s okay though, right?
