Let’s talk hiking shoes! 🥾 @teva Universal Sandal Love these for any light hike that involves water or really any activity that involves water and some foot protection! These are also super lightweight so I pack them on EVERY backpacking trip so I have something other than my boots to wear around camp to let my dogs breatheeeee. @merrell Speed Solo My first pair of hiking boots were Merrell boots and when I walked straight out of those, I had to get a pair of more lightweight lowtops. Love these!! Very comfortable and a great overall hiking shoe. @salomon Quest 4 GTX Boot Wore these for my 6day backpacking trip in Yosemite a few years ago and loved them. Love the support the high-top gave my ankles and I now really enjoy wearing these in colder weather and snow because of the Gore-Tex! Keeps my dogs warm & dry! @altrarunning Lone Peak 9 My new favorite hiking shoe! SO lightweight since they’re technically trail runners and I lovvvveeee that big toe box. The very first time I wore these I did a 7 mile hike and didn’t get one blister. If I only had to have one hiking shoe forever, it would probably be these. Only negatives is that with them being very lightweight, they’re not AS supportive as other hiking shoes so take that into consideration. LTKActive
