I’m in my 50s now, and here’s something wild: I look better than I did in my 30s and 40s.

Tegan and I began sharing our story because breast health is personal to us — not a campaign, not a hashtag, literally “Protect the Twins.” We wanted women to book that appointment, do the self-check, take their health seriously. But we quickly learned something important: a message, no matter how urgent, only travels as far as people are willing to listen. We realized that if we wanted women to actually stay with us — to hear the health message and act on it — we had to give them more reasons to show up every day. So we started talking about the things that make women feel good in their own skin: style that fits real 50+ bodies, confidence about the arms and the midsection and the “meno belly,” beauty that doesn’t erase who you are. Not instead of the mission — in service of it.

That’s how we found ourselves walking into LTK Con, surrounded by thousands of women who get it — creators and brands who understand that self-expression and self-care aren’t separate from health, they’re part of it. Every photo and video is proof that the message didn’t get diluted by growing bigger. It got louder. When a woman feels good, she pays attention. She takes care of herself. She protects herself. That’s always been the whole point — style was just the way in.
