I’m in my 50s now, and here’s something wild: I look better than I did in my 30s and 40s.

For years I didn’t even realize how much I’d let myself fade into the background. Skipping the mirror instead of looking in it. Putting everyone else’s needs before my own, every single day.

Turning it around wasn’t one big overhaul. It was small, daily acts of choosing myself — the right fit over the “safe” size, sun rays instead of something to erase, showing up as me instead of hiding.

Your 50s aren’t a decline. They’re a return to yourself. Here are some of the things that helped me!

ITS HERE!!!Some things are pretty. Some things protect.

This Heart Hope plate and bow from MacKenzie-Childs does both, and it benefits The Pink Fund, which helps women in breast cancer treatment with their everyday bills.

Protect the Twins is not a slogan for us. It's literal. Book the mammogram, tell your sister, then set a pretty table.
