We do a money piece in the front. Then a mixture of highlights and low lights throughout.
Using schwarzkopf color- we tone hair in between foils.
Olaplex treatment, global tone with a root smudge.

Toner color based off how the hair pulls up from the lightener.

Toner in between based off how the hair has lighten since previous hair apt.

Normally 10-4 global toner

Root smudge is 6-0 5-1 7-1

I have attached a rough guideline of how I highlight.
