These are some of the things I take with me to make camping or any vacation go smoother.

I never skip these airplane habits.

1. Count the rows to your nearest exit, front and back, the second you sit down. Ten seconds, and if something ever goes wrong you’re not guessing in the dark, you already know the way out.
2. Wear shoes you can actually run in. Flip flops and heels are cute, but if you need to move fast off that plane, you want to be able to.
3.Choose natural fibers, like cotton or linen, over synthetics when you fly. Synthetic fabrics melt in high heat, natural ones don’t, and that matters more than people realize.
4. Make sure your bag fits completely under the seat in front of you. If it’s sticking out, it becomes a trip hazard for you and everyone behind you in an emergency exit.
5. Keep your shoes on for takeoff and landing. Those are the two highest-risk windows of any flight, and bare feet or socks slow you down if you need to move quickly.

I also travel with these must haves too!
1. My magnification mirror that can go around my head with a built in stand too!
2. My new makeup case that lets me keep everything in it standing up and it nice and soft.
3. My linen pants from Ruti. Love them for travel days and site seeing days and I can dress them up for evening.
4. My delsy luggage! It’s the best quality and easiest to maneuver suitcases ever! Before this I had north face and Patagonia. Hated those!
5. My Dagny Dover carry on! Fits so much!
