I wasn’t leaving the cleanser on long enough for it to do any good!

The 30-second rule for washing your face involves gently massaging cleanser onto skin for a full 30 seconds rather than quickly scrubbing, allowing ingredients to break down dirt, oil, and SPF. This technique improves skin texture, reduces breakouts, and prevents the "speed run" washing that leaves residue behind.

I’ve linked the cleanser I’m using now. I rotate cleansers about every 6 weeks. I’ve always thought my skin gets used to one and then I change it. I’ve linked others I have in rotation.
