In honor of my children subsequently taking longer and longer to make their debuts. 9 1/2 months in and 9 1/2 months our.

#3 was two weeks beyond his “due” date

We loved celebrating the 4th with our sweet little guy this year 🇺🇸

This has been my best postpartum yet and I genuinely feel like I cracked the code to working with my body to recover.

If you’re interested in coaching we’re opening up the doors next week to an intensive hormone reset 🙈 you’ll only know about it if you’ve read this far and that’s how we’re gonna start announcing because we are only taking a limited number of women for this one.

Comment RESET below and I’ll dm you 🫶🏻🇺🇸
This is the postpartum timeline that actually gets you there — and no one talks about it.

Follow @tawnidenise for the fitness, nutrition, and hormone strategies that work for moms.

I’m on my 3rd postpartum recovery, 8 months in. Same strategy every time. Same results every time.

🌿 Month 1–3 — Do almost nothing. On purpose.
Walking. Holding your baby. Protecting your hormones. Eating enough protein.

Estrogen and progesterone crash after birth. Sleep deprivation spikes cortisol. If you train hard right now, you’re fighting your own biology — and you will lose. So I don’t. Gentle movement, nutrient-dense food, high protein, rest. That’s the foundation the shred is built on.

🌿 Month 4–6 — Your body starts changing before you even train hard.
Because I rested, my hormones stabilize faster. Body composition starts shifting before I’ve even added real training. This is not magic — it’s the payoff for protecting phase one.

I add:
• Light strength training
• Simple resistance work
• Consistency over intensity, always

🌿 Month 7–8 — Progressive overload starts.
3x/week strength becomes the anchor. Recovery improves. Hormones steady. Energy returns.

🌿 Month 9–10 — Now we push.
Weights go up. Intensity goes up. Muscle builds faster. This is where it gets fun.

🌿 Month 11–12 — This is when it all clicks.
Energy. Strength. Body composition. All of it shifting — not because I rushed it.

Because I built the conditions for it.

If you want to actually get shredded postpartum — not just survive it — comment REBUILD and I’ll show you exactly how. 🫶🏻
We are all hard on ourselves. As women first, but especially as mothers.

Motherhood doesn’t just add responsibilities, it adds a whole new emotional weight. It stretches you in ways you never saw coming and has a way of bringing all of your stuff right to the surface.

There’s the pressure to do it right, to be present, to keep everyone safe and fed and loved, while also trying to remember who you are underneath all of it. Some days feel productive and full, and other days feel quiet, heavy, or invisible. And somehow we still convince ourselves we didn’t do enough.

I know I’m hard on myself. I replay moments, question decisions, wonder if I should be doing more or doing it better. But the truth is, when I step back and really look at this year, I’ve done a lot. And if you’re reading this, I can almost guarantee you have too.

You’ve shown up on the days you were tired. You carried emotional loads no one else saw. You made sacrifices that didn’t come with applause. You grew, even when growth was uncomfortable. And you kept going, even when it would’ve been easier to check out.

So as you sit down to set New Year’s resolutions, goals, and intentions, I hope you take a moment to pause. Before you focus on what needs fixing or changing, remember what you’ve already survived, built, and learned.

Celebrate yourself. Give yourself credit and remember you were bought and paid for with the ultimate price on the cross.

You don’t need to prove anything to be worthy of rest.

You’re already doing more than you realize. 🤍
I am three months postpartum, and I’m loving getting back into some movement. I can’t wait to continue getting strong in 2026! Let’s go girls!!

This is super simple. I used 10 pound dumbbells the whole time and you can literally get it done during a Bluey episode so Mom points there.

3 rounds
12 sumo high pulls
12 rdl’s

3 rounds
12 Reverse lunges
10 dumbbell push ups

Bonus
3 rounds
10 squat jumps
30 sec rest

Get it girl!
But seriously what is it about having her around that makes it like the whole world is just our playground and no one’s is watching? #bestfriends #longdistancebestfriends
The sooner you start loving on yourself, the better you’ll feel about everything, all of the time. And there’s actual science behind that and girl you might need to hear this…

When you think something over and over, your brain forms what’s called a neural pathway. The more a thought is repeated — good or bad — the stronger and faster that pathway becomes. So when you constantly let negative self-talk run the show, your brain starts treating those thoughts like “default truth.”

But here’s the good news: your brain is neuroplastic, which means it’s literally capable of rewiring itself at any age. Every time you challenge a negative thought and replace it with something true, kind, or grounded in who God says you are, you’re building new pathways. You’re shifting the way your brain fires, the way you perceive yourself, and even the way your body releases hormones tied to stress, confidence, and peace.

This is why retraining your thoughts will 💯 change your life. You aren’t just “thinking positive.” You are physically changing the structure of your brain.

And God knew this long before neuroscience caught up. That’s why Scripture tells us to “take every thought captive.”
Because He knew our minds naturally drift toward the negative — it’s part of the brain’s survival wiring. The brain is designed to look for threats, and sometimes it mistakes our own reflection as one.

So when those self-deprecating, insecure, or anxious thoughts come up, it doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re human. It means your brain is doing what it was wired to do — but you have the power (and the permission) to redirect it.

The moment you start loving on yourself — giving grace, speaking truth, choosing compassion over criticism — you’re not only healing emotionally… you’re strengthening new neural pathways that make it easier to choose love the next time, and the time after that.

And slowly, day by day, you start seeing yourself the way God sees you.
Worthy. Capable. Chosen.
Doing a good job — even on the days you don’t feel like it.
Happy Thanksgiving fam 🍂
Just sayin’ 🫶🏼

Send this to a mom your ready to hit the spa with🫶🏼

So grateful to my sweet friends who knew what I needed before this baby pops out. As much as your girl loves a baby shower… she loves a spa day more 🤣

But also send diapers - here we goooooo!!!
Gotta love her…. 🐶🐾
Sometimes I purposefully don’t bring a stroller to the zoo because I end up being more tired than the kids 😂 I like them to work out those little legs — and our zoo isn’t that big, so it feels totally doable.

Kind of the same reason I won’t push them on the swings the entire time we’re at the park 🥸

This was my first time trying it with a baby though — and we made it with only a few hiccups 🙌 Totally worth it, because they’re already asking to go back! No trauma for anyone and baby was such a champ. 💯 He loves the @mabecarriers so much.

Also… the new @thelivingdesert café?! The fries + salad combo = elite. I’m already craving it again. 🍟🥗
Mind blown 🤯

When you kiss your newborn, it’s not just sweet — it’s biology, bonding, and pure magic. ✨

Your body actually samples the little microbes on their skin and creates antibodies tailored exactly to what your baby needs. And then? You deliver those antibodies right back through your breastmilk!!!

Like… what?!

It also boosts your oxytocin, milk flow, and that deep mama baby connection that feels like home.

And honestly… this 3rd baby has made me even more sentimental. I just want this newborn phase to last forever — which I never thought I’d say. I used to be terrified of the newborn stage and now look at me… soaking it in, kissing his little cheeks, and wanting time to slow down. 🤣🤍

It’s wild how God designed us to work together like this.
The more we learn, the more we see mothers and babies were truly meant to be close.
✨ Part THREE ✨
I’m obsessed with this one—the texture, the side detail, the color… it’s so pretty! 😍 you guys spotted this in parts one and two and were already asking about the blue!! 💙

Comment “dress” to shop + make sure you’re following @tawnidenise

Stay tuned because I’m about to start sharing my real newborn + postpartum must-haves. Getting ready for baby #3 has me so excited to finally show you what I’m actually using this time around 💕

I wanted to share this for the moms who are in the thick of worry… 🤍

With this pregnancy, I was afraid of everything. Labor, delivery, how my boys would adjust, if they’d miss out on me, if I’d even be able to show up for all three kids. The fear felt so real.

But here’s what I’ve learned—worry never gives you what it promises. God reminds us in His Word not to worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. And it’s true every single time. Nothing ever turns out exactly like the worry in our heads.

This ended up being my hardest labor and delivery of all three, but it was still beautiful in its own way. Our baby came healthy and happy, and the boys? They surprised me—they’re having the best time with their baby brother and have been so helpful. Everyone is enjoying slowing down and letting this new little one find his place in our family.

Motherhood keeps teaching me things I didn’t expect. It’s the classic “you don’t know what you don’t know” until you’re in it. And honestly, the more babies, the more you grow. I never thought I’d say this, but I’m convinced that by the third, you can’t help but surrender—and there’s so much freedom there. ✨

🤣🤣 officially a walking Starbucks cake pop.

#40weeks pregnant!

Comment “dress” if you want the details for these babies 💗💗💗
Gotta love her…. 🐶🐾
For those of you on baby watch they’re not here yet lol - this is a story from baby #2 🤣

Literally can’t believe that actually happened—i gave birth to my second son in the amazon dress my GMA bought me ✨ one of my genuine prayers was not to give birth in a hospital gown, and she made sure that prayer was answered.

it’s been hard this time around knowing she isn’t here on earth to meet baby #3, but i feel her so close in the little ways she would have loved to show up for me. 🤍

as always, comment “dress” below & i’ll send you the link. it’s truly tried + tested—bump-friendly, works postpartum, and yes it has side pockets (they do stick out a little as your belly grows but never bothered me). definitely one of my pregnancy staples.
Postpartum dressing is a journey — part trial and error, part grace.
Some days nothing fits right, but more and more, I’m learning to choose what feels good instead of what used to fit. Grateful for this body and all it’s done.

At the end of the day your kids love you and literally don’t care what you look like or what you wear 🥰🙏🏻 thank goodness.
Can’t believe we’re rolling into 41 weeks. Grateful to be a safe haven for my sweet baby 🫶🏼🤍

Grateful for my faith in times like these and grateful to share the things I love with all of you 🙏🏻🤍 thanks for being here.

Praying for everyone 🙏🏻🤍
