34-year-old mum confession: I spend far too much time looking at gorgeous influencers and their fashion inspo, wishing I was one of those women who just looks put together every day. 😂 I go to the gym and there are women in matching sets looking effortlessly chic. I do the nursery drop-off and feel like I’ve thrown on whatever was closest. And, if I’m honest, the only time I really make an effort is when I’m going into the office or actually have plans. But I’d really love to change that. Because I genuinely feel more confident when my hair is done, my make-up is on and I’m wearing an outfit I actually like. So why should I save that feeling just for “going somewhere”? When I saw these @marksandspencerstyle shoes on @wearetwinset’s page, I thought they might be exactly what I’m looking for — something I can wear to work, with jeans, or just for everyday, that feels a little more feminine without being a full-on dolly shoe. The reviews on my stories have been VERY 50/50 😂 so I appreciate these are going to be a bit Marmite… but I think I’m going to keep them.
