1. Emotional regulation: with an adult using emotion words so they can start understanding feelings
2. Independent bathroom skills: from start to finish
3. Cutting, gluing, holding scissors & glue
4. Asking for help, after they have tried.
5. Early literacy skills: letter recognition, name recognition, spelling name, writing name, phonological awareness (rhyming, syllables, beginning sounds, & words in a sentence)
Start with one area, you aren’t behind, it’s perfect to start now!

Teacher style can be hard. The need for comfort is high but we don’t want to look frumpy. We still need to look professional because we often see and meet parents. Professional, comfortable, and cute is the name of the game.
