We had some set up mistakes for her actual party, so yesterday I went out and redid the whole set up because I had such a cute vision and wanted so badly to get pictures of it completed (also, I convinced Kojo to let me purchase all of this stuff so I felt like he needed to see the vision come to life)

Ube Cookie Recipe:
2.5 C Flour
1C Vegan Butter (or 1C regular butter)
1.5 Cups Sugar
1C White Choco Chips (dairy free or regular)
1 Flax Egg (or 1 regular egg)
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Vanilla
4 tsp Ube Extract
1/4 tsp Salt

Bake for 12 min at 350° 🤎

We have officially completed and started using our nursery. We’ve gotten questions about a few pieces since we started putting the Hot Air Balloon Safari space together, and everything that we used is from @potterybarnkids. We can’t get over the quality of the new furniture, and are excited to see how this room will transform as our family continues to grow.

While putting the space together we had so many discussions about parenthood, what we are excited about, nervous about, and what we love most, to which Kojo said:

“I find purpose in being a man, I find purpose in life. It solidifies my hopes and dreams, and there’s so much gratification in that, just seeing the girls grow and learn new things, which further helps me grow because I’m still learning myself”.

This nursery has already become so filled with love.
