Sitting here thinking about where I started vs where I am now. A hobby turned into a part time gig. The highs and lows of starting something unknown and turning into a future business. Understanding now that consistency and quality is better than quantity with no depth.

Moral of the Story: Get own of your own way!! It’s only crazy until it happens. Your hard work is going to pay off. BUT remember these tips in the meantime:
1. Be authentic to who you are.
2. Create a balance between the audience you have now and the audience you are seeking to serve.
3. Consistency is key! Don’t confuse the people. Stay in your pocket while adding a sprinkle to intro something new.
4. Growth in engagement is better then growth in followers (imagine having 50,000 followers and only 1% engagement? Crazy yet!!!!)

You don’t need a full glam squad or hours to get ready (all the time)— just intention. I only had 45 minutes to get ready for a work dinner, so I opted to elevate basics with a blazer and silk trousers. Keeping the base neutral and polished, my added a pop of color that does the talking and a simple sling back heel. I’ve been loving silver accents lately and it helps to instantly refine the look. Hair? Out of the way and straight back. Makeup? Glowy skin and one focal point. Effortless, strategic and work appropriate, even out of the office because style, is about impact.
