Yesterday’s adventure took us horseback riding in Baños — Ecuador’s adventure capital…along a stunning trail that led straight to natural hot springs.
We rode through lush forest with beautiful views of the mountains and river. And the best part? This is just one of the many epic adventures Baños has to offer.

High in the Ecuadorian wilderness sits Casa del Árbol, it is at about 8,530 feet (2,600 meters) above sea level, it keeps watch over the active volcano Mt. Tungurahua from its cliffside lookout. I visited the famous swing on the cliff with just a small seatbelt and nothing but open air beneath you- super scary but an amazing view and experience.
The park is also full of beautiful flowers and trees that are always blooming and beautiful because of the perfect weather and volcanic soil. (I’m sure I took too many photos of all the amazing flowers and plants!)
This is a hidden treasure in this area of the world, it was also where the famous winning National Geographic photo was taken named “The Swing at The End of the World”
