Did you know that cast iron is the original non-stick skillet? If you’re worried about chemicals in nonstick pots and pans, then cast iron cookware is for you.

Brands like Lodge are more light-weight than before, and their pre-seasoned skillets mean there’s no seasoning required.

If you go with Staub or Le Creuset pots or skillets, which are enameled inside, you’ll never have to worry if someone leaves it soaking in the sink.

Pro tip: for the best scrambled eggs, match your skillet to the number of eggs you’re using. For 2-3 eggs go with an 8” skillet. For 4 or more, use a 10” skillet.
