My body is sooo different this summer than it was last summer (and the summer before that), and I am very much on a journey to learn the love the body I have and not just wish for the one I used to have. I know I am not alone in this journey, but it is SO hard to give yourself the confidence you so freely want others to have for themselves. So consider this the start of a new series where I share things I’m doing or I’ve tried to help me find confidence in the woman I am right now. ❤️ Don’t feel like you need to completely redo your holiday aesthetic every year. Cozy Christmas nostalgia comes from using the same things again and again. Integrate a few new things you love, but make sure you keep your tried and true pieces front and center.

❤️ Utilize lighting as much as you can! Candles, lamps, fireplaces (ours isn’t real - it plugs into the wall!), and even a fireplace on the TV makes your space feel intimate and festive.

❤️ Don’t feel like everything needs to “go” together. Handmade items and too many pillows and way too many ornaments on the tree are what makes your holiday home YOURS. You’ll never find me saying “less is more” during the holiday season.

❤️ Be intentional with your time. The holidays fly by SO fast; take time to make a plan with your loved ones so you don’t feel like you missed out on any memory making when the next year comes around.

I have literally been LIVING in these pajamas and they’re FINALLY ONLINE 🤎 a gorgeous, trendy chocolate brown, SO SOFT, and the the white piping makes them feel luxe (without the luxe price tag). These are gonna sell out sooo fast I just know it ✨

I’m in a size medium! They’re very stretchy so you could size down. Length wise they’re a little long for us short girls, but not to where it’s unsafe to walk. Sizing down helped me with the length!

Hosting hack for hosting in small spaces! I turned my laundry room into a serving station✨

I was having 15 girls over for cookbook club and did NOT have the counter space in our apartment to put all the food! So I transformed our washer and dryer into a tableware and drink station using some tablecloths, an apron, and a few bud vases. Putting all the plates and drinks there left all of the counter space for food, and even though my kitchen is tiny we had PLENTYYY of space for all the goodies! And the best part? Nobody even knew!!

It’s easy to get discouraged when you want to host but feel like you don’t have the space. But if you think outside of the box and aren’t afraid to use things in a way they weren’t meant to be used, you can transform your space to fit your needs. At the end of the day, hosting is all about bringing people together and spending time with people you love. Trust me, your guests will be impressed with your creativity and more than likely start implementing the hack in their home too.

I’ve decided I’m officially ready for fall, and it was time for the table to show it 🍂🍁 forever inspired by Nancy Meyers, but I swapped the typical coastal blues and greens for burgundy and brown to capture the essence of Autumn. Everything is from the Fall Hearth and Hand collection at @target and I could not be more obsessed! 🍁

The battery operated candles will be in rotation for all of my holiday tablescapes, the glass pumpkins were only $5, and the brown long-stem coupe glasses are my new favorite thing in my hosting closet!
