My hair care obsessions…
*New Moms, this one’s for you too!*
I’ve really been concentrating on bringing back to life my over-processed tresses. Here are my routine-based tips and accompanying products I recommend which have basically saved me over the past year.
Key Tips:
- Fortify from the inside out with some Biotin, daily.
- High quality shampoo is so essential. Find two you love and use them interchangeably. Obviously (is it obvious?) always shampoo your hair twice.
- Hair masks are magical. Gisou has one heck of a hair mask and the 8.5 Oz container I purchased has lasted me a long, long time.
- Wear hair loosely and not tied tightly. Toss the elastics and utilize clips, etc. I’ve also found my hair experiences far less breakage when wearing hair back at the nape of the neck (aka a low pony) when working out.
- Use after wash sprays including a heat protectant. (My favorite post-wash spray is the Miriam Quevedo product in the photo.) I constantly remind myself that heat is not my friend… use sparingly.

✨MAKE UP advice to radiate ON NYE ✨
- Use densely pigmented eyeshadows/bronzers/blushes to really bring the drama without building up too much product on your face to achieve the same effect. Too much on your face will make you look cakey, tired & saggy before the clock strikes 12.
- Glittery ✨ metallic tones can be layered well to amp the drama. Again, higher quality products (purchased strategically) will apply perfectly & allow for your features to POP all night.
- Cream based concealers/foundations/highlighters equal great coverage while keeping things looking moisturized and stay in place for the long haul.
- Last and not least, I always start my application with a primer and finish with a fixing spray (which adds that extra bit of moisture). Makes your time and your products far more effective.

I always need my skin to look better.
IMO light therapy works wonders and this mask is a staple in my daily self care routine. Taking a few minutes every day, I boost collegian & elastin production, reduce inflammation, kill bacteria laying under my skin. Love it so much I never travel without it!
Consistent use (every day) basically means my other products are even more effective as well. Worth the price.
