I used to load them with sweets that barely got touched. Half of it sat around, got thrown out or I eat it

Now I build a basket my daughters will use all season, but I gear it towards summer.

I start with a beach bag instead of a basket. It holds everything and becomes part of the gift.

This year I fill it with:
• Cute pajamas and silk pillowcases
• A brush with detachable gems
• Hempz body lotion
• Waterproof phone lanyards
• Personalized hair clips and a bubble headband
• Travel perfume and a cozy loungewear set
• Beach towels and a bathing suit to finish it off

It feels more thoughtful, lasts longer, it’s healthier, and still feels fun to open.

DIY SNACK STADIUM 🏟️ | The Ultimate Big Game Build

Game day hosting just leveled UP. This DIY Snack Stadium is the ultimate centerpiece for the Big Game—perfect for chips, dips, wings, drinks, and all the snacks your crowd expects. It looks impressive, but it’s totally doable with basic tools and a little patience. Let’s build it. 👇

🛠️ Materials List
• (1) 2’ x 4’ sheet of ¼” sanded plywood
• (2) 8’ 1x6 clear pine boards
• (1) 3’ 1x2 board
• (1) 24” x 6” chalkboard
• Wood glue
• Brad nailer

⸻

🔺 1x6 Octagon Surround
• All cuts are 22.5° miter cuts
• Measurements are long-to-long (measure from long point to long point)

Cut:
• (2) pieces at 18.5”
• (2) pieces at 12”
• (4) pieces at 8 5/8”

👉 Glue and nail the mitered ends together to form the octagon.

▭ 1x4 Rectangular Center

Cut:
• (2) pieces at 12”
• (2) pieces at 16.5”

👉 Glue and nail together to create the rectangular center section.

🪚 Assembly
1. Place the assembled octagon on the plywood, trace it, and cut it out.
2. Glue and nail the plywood base to the bottom of the octagon.
3. Center the rectangular piece inside the octagon, then glue and nail it in place.

➗ Dividers
• Use leftover 1x6 boards
• Space them out however you like to create snack sections
• Cut to size, use a straight edge to mark the angle, then attach to the inner and outer walls with glue and nails

📋 Scoreboard
• Cut the 1x2 in half to create two vertical posts
• Attach the 24” x 6” chalkboard
• Center it on the outside of the octagon and screw it into place

🏈 Final Touch

These measurements allow room for a field-style cutting board in the center. Add your food, drinks, and team spirit—and you’re game-day ready.
