The official “transfer of families” takes place on Inauguration Day in just five hours...furniture, art, groceries, stocked bathrooms, unpacked closets...talk about efficiency!

This pantry also got a makeover of its own this week with new product that helps maximize those deep, yet narrow shelves!

We installed this pantry nearly four years ago and a quick refresh this week turned it back into organized bliss!

We did a once over for expired items, pulled everything out to give the shelves a great wipe down, and then reorganized to accommodate for older kids who are now in charge of grabbing their own snacks.

No new product was needed, and yet, it feels like a completely refreshed space. Have one of these projects of your own?? We have a few September sessions available and would love to work with you!

In this case, the focus was on keeping things visible, some items needed to be sealed off allowing us to get creative with product (hello, @thecontainerstore sweater boxes), and yet, accessible for littles! 🎉

We’re a @cheerios house and we decant that single box into an @oxo container! 😜

Talk about a transformation!! With a mix of multi-purpose bins, turn tables and can risers, this space just clicks. ✨

Moving can be absolute madness…but it doesn’t have to be!! We pinky promise!

Pantry dreams do come true!!

While we always do our best to make client’s existing spaces work better, sometimes you need to call in the pros and just start fresh.

@compass_design looped us into this pantry project, and we in turn looped in @calclosets_erin to design a space that felt like a boutique grocery store. And after putting it all back together, we just want to know when we’ll be invited for dinner. 🍽

You know we LOVE a good pantry!! It may look simple (and we sure hope it is simple to maintain), but when a space ends up this perfect it is because of the time spent measuring + planning! Get the tape measurer out BEFORE you head to @thecontainerstore.

Friday poll! Are you team decant all the things, or team “who’s got time for that?”

While it always looks gorgeous to see things in beautiful glass jars, it is a commitment when you arrive home from the grocery store to refill. And often times, we need a separate storage solution for all of the overflow bags and boxes.

These are the types of conversations we love having with clients, so that their customized product solutions not only fit their space, but more importantly, their lifestyle!

Don't you just love being able to see EVERYTHING you have in your pantry? Clear containers can seriously work magic! They help you see everything while keeping it orderly and organized, especially when you have tall shelves like these!

And while we're at it, they look lovely with those labels featuring white text, don't ya think? 😉

You know what I love?? Adjustable shelves…you can generally find me moving at least one shelf around to maximize the space in any given client session.

If you are in the process of building or remodeling a pantry and are not incorporating adjustable shelves, don’t forget to plan for your large appliances!

One of the key things when determining what product to use is knowing what is going in a space. I promise you, the best thing you can do is take everything out, check every expiration date, measure your shelves and then, FINALLY decide on what product will best utilize the space.

This pantry has it all: turn tables, tiered can risers, baskets and acrylic bins. And each of those products helped make this space function both efficiently, and I might add, beautifully!

We’ve said it once, heck, we’ve probably said it 1000 times, but maximizing your vertical space is key!

The back of a door can be ripe with possibilities - in this case utilizing @thecontainerstore's Elfa system to provide extra space for all your Taco Tuesday necessities!

With a lot of measuring + planning ahead, this space was transformed in just one session...and 🤩 is all I can say!

I’ll be honest, super high/super deep shelves are tough. Things get lost in the back and can end up calling that deep, dark space home forever.

And that’s where product can make a world of difference! Now this gorgeous pantry has a system where everything is accessible, contained and organized!

Did you ever think your pantry could be the MOST jaw-dropping part of your house?!

This client’s wallpaper made our pantry dreams come true! Add gorgeous (and functional) product into the mix...we now have a work of art!

If your pantry shelves are unable to be adjusted, it is important to find products that maximize every square inch, like these stackable bamboo bins. Product can make all the difference in the 🌎!

Client’s biggest concern is whether or not they’ll be able to maintain their space after I leave.

My goal is to work with each client to create a system that meets them where they are at, so that it is easy to keep up! No sense in getting overly complicated!!

And the real trick in many spaces is our use of baskets! They conceal a heck of a lot!! 😜

Talk about #pantrygoals! I loved leveling up this space so that it could function even better for this lucky family!

Sometimes you might find yourself in a position where things work pretty well, but you just need an outsider’s perspective to take it up a notch! In this case, a few product switches, a new layout for what’s accessible and what’s not, and labels made all the difference!

Now what’s on the menu for the winter storm we’ve got going on this week?!

Product can do absolute wonders in a space! Not only does it corral by category, but it provides you with limits...which is always a great thing, in my book.

Can we talk about the @ggcustomhomes @indybuilders Home•A•Rama house?! The entire home is out of this world (especially the lighting and hardware), but I’m personally very excited about the Back Kitchen.

@hilarigoris designed the most magnificent backdrop for our organizational 🪄 magic! We loved showcasing our work inside the cabinets, but also on the floating shelves because….organizing can be beautiful too! We promise!

A little pantry inspo for your Saturday! Crisp, clean and contained - just the way we like our spaces! 🪄

Ahhhh…a fully stocked, fully functional pantry just makes the weekend so much better.

A few important things we like to think about when organizing a pantry:
✔️ Should kids snacks be easily accessible or tucked higher up (this totally depends on your parenting style)?
✔️ What categories make sense for your family? We like to group things like a grocery store, but the labels need to make sense for the way you cook + snack!
✔️ Product is incorporated to make your life easier, not harder. An example being whether or not we decant items in your space - do you have the time to keep the system up when you return from the grocery, if not, oversize baskets might make more sense.

We love learning about the way YOU function in your space and tailoring systems to your family’s unique needs! At the end of the day, you are the ones living here and our goal is to enhance that, not implement systems that are tough to keep up with! ❤️

It’s amazing what the RIGHT product can do!

Here’s a little about our approach…We never propose product without a thorough edit in a space and a plan. Once we’ve figured out which shelf everything will call their permanent home, we then figure out what product will help to maximize the flow of the space!

And we love seeing the overall aesthetic of a home and understanding the way your family functions in a space so that the final look of your organized space complements the rest of your home in a big way! 🙌🏼

Truer words have never been uttered! The funny thing about organizing is that it is a messy process…or at the very least, a very untidy one.

That’s why we always love coming in and acting as “another you,” only one with no distractions. It’s wild how much can be accomplished with a focused team, who doesn’t have appointments to attend, errands to run, meals to cook, kids to wipe or dogs to walk.

In this case, our client’s pantry was completely transformed in just one session…and right in time for the holidays, we might add. 🦃
