Introducing our 2nd mama! Hi, I'm Julie! I met my husband in college at the University of Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!) in 2013. We are both originally from the Chicagoland area, but have lived all over the midwest. We got married in 2020 in the heart of the pandemic and in 2021 got the surprise of our lives....I was pregnant! We welcomed our sweet baby boy in June 2022. Although our family grew a little sooner than we had expected, we could not be happier as a family of three. Professionally, I am a teacher of the D/deaf specializing in early intervention (birth to three). I love to help families and their little ones learn to listen and talk! I am incredibly passionate about emotionally responsive teaching/parenting and work closely with top professionals in the field of early childhood exploring the impact of emotionally responsive practices.
