Wedding outfits!! My sister is in a wedding soon, and she offered to share her sizing journey with us😂.
Birdy Grey is such a great website with so many options for bridesmaids and even wedding guest dresses if it’s closer to black tie dress code. The only issue is you can’t try on the dresses before purchasing. My sister did measurements based on the sizing chart, but she was smack dab in the middle of an XL and XXL. So here’s her opinions👇🏻
For reference she is:
5’ 4” and ~180lbs
Typically a size Large
Pants size 12 or 14
Bra size 36DD
(And yes, she said I could share all that!😅)
In the end, she is leaning toward a different dress because the XXL here is too big, but she doesn’t love how the XL is digging into her back and chest. What do you think?
(Side note- unless you’re tall you will have to have the dress hemmed. Birdy Grey intentionally sells the dresses quite long to accommodate taller girlies)
