This is by no means an extensive list, but I know by doing these things daily my future self will thank me- (comment link for anything I mention here 🤍) 1. Lift weights. Did you know as we age our muscles begin to atrophy (decrease) at a very alarming rate. Muscle is SO important. It aids in metabolism, immune health, bone density and so much more. Many people break bones later in life because their bones are brittle. Muscle makes for strong bones. 2. This goes along with the first. I want to THRIVE my whole life and the only way to do that is to care what does into your body. High protein, nutrient dense food is so important to me. Keeping processed foods to the minimum will help avoid so many health problems. Eating fermented food daily will not only keep your gut healthy, but will also keep your mind healthy- who doesn’t want that as we age? 3. Oil based skincare, facial massage and red light therapy. This is pretty self explanatory! I want to age as gracefully as I possibly can and embrace my natural beauty in the process. These three things are proven to help that process 🤍 4. Daily walks and time with loved ones. Walking is one the most underrated thing for longevity. Just walk!! 5. Spending time with loved ones (especially my husband). Relationships are EVERYTHING. But to make them good, they require daily work. I want to still be so deeply in love with my husband when I’m 80 as I am now. This also goes for my children 🤍 6. Spend daily time with God. He is the reason for my joy. I never want to go a day without him in my life, I feel that in these days, you just can’t even afford that. What would you add!?
