BOOK REVIEW FOR THE VANISHING CHERRY BLOSSOM SHOP || To be completely honest, I picked up this book at Barnes & Noble solely based on the cover… pink and shiny will get me every time. But this short 207 page book was filled with perspectives and life journeys of several individuals from all ages and walks of life who find themselves transported to the dimension of those bookshop where they learn something they need and, in turn, is something us as the reader can gain from as well. The last 25 pages of the book is kind of trippy making you wonder if this was written from imagination or real life experience. It was definitely a weird twist. Just as a warning though, this book is translated from Japanese so the style of reading might feel different if you’re not familiar with it! This was a sweet book I’ll be passing along to my 15 year old and I know she’ll love it.
