The carpet is officially gone, thanks to David jumping in to help speed things up. 🙌 Aiden also stopped by a couple of times to make sure we were doing everything to his standards… every project needs a general contractor. 😂

Now that I can finally see the original stairs, it’s time for the tedious part: pulling what feels like a million nails.

This is a great little upgrade if your car already has wired Apple CarPlay. 🙌

I found the hidden USB inside my Tahoe’s secret compartment and plugged in a wireless CarPlay adapter (after a suggestion on my last post).

Now my phone connects automatically every time I start the car—no more digging for a cable or plugging it in before every drive.

Such a small change, but it makes the whole car feel so much more convenient.
If you have a vehicle with wired CarPlay, this is definitely worth looking into!

POV: Your toddler thinks every bag is for him. 😂🥐

This was our first pastry pickup from Mercantile and Mash, and it definitely won’t be our last! We grabbed 2 surprise pastry bags through the new app we’ve been trying, and everything looked so good.

One thing I loved? If you’re local, they have a huge parking lot, which makes picking up downtown so much easier.

Confession: I thought my car was already pretty clean. 😅

Then they started detailing it…

It’s amazing how much of a difference someone makes when they actually have the time (and tools) to get into all the little spots you normally skip. The windows, cup holders, door pockets, pet fur… all the tiny details added up.

As a mom, the biggest win was that they came to me. I stayed inside with the boys while they worked, and Aiden had the best time watching them clean what he calls the “TV Car.” 😂

Tuesday morning, I donated 1,000 ounces of breast milk to help NICU babies through the Mother’s Milk Bank. 💛 @milkbankco

And before anyone asks—no, my breastfeeding journey isn’t over! Philip still primarily nurses. I’ve just been incredibly blessed to be an overproducer, so this was all extra milk.

The sweetest part of the morning was getting to see Susanna. She was my lactation consultant for both Aiden and Philip when they were born, and we absolutely love her. It felt like such a full-circle moment having her there to receive this donation.

Breastfeeding and pumping haven’t always been easy, but being able to feed my baby and help other babies at the same time is something I’ll never take for granted.

Knowing this milk will help NICU families makes every pumping session worth it.
