Vintage Inspired Gucci Lipstick in Goldie Red ❤️ I’ve posted about these lipsticks a few times but I really love the packaging and quality of these vintage inspired lipsticks from Gucci. This one is the Rouge A Levres Gothique formula so it has a metallic finish.

In this photo you can see it compared to a real vintage Dura-Gloss lipstick from around the 1950s. It’s clear that Gucci took inspiration from this design. At $49 it is a little pricey but I personally think this a great purchase for a vintage lover who wants makeup that’s actually safe to use 😂❤️

Some of my current makeup favorites! For work I try to wear neutral makeup so I’ve definitely gotten in the habit of wearing neutral makeup every day. I like that the Natasha Denona Retro Palette adds some interesting and variation to a look without being too bright and out of my comfort zone ❤️

Revlon Fire & Ice Lipstick 🔥❄️

Revlon launched their iconic lipstick Fire & Ice in 1952. They also made a matching nail polish in the same shade.

The launch campaign featured supermodel Dorian Leigh and was one of the first makeup campaigns to focus on women wearing makeup for themselves rather than for the attention of men. The ad featured a two page spread and a questionnaire that sought to answer the question “Are you made for Fire and Ice?” with questions like “did you ever wish on a new moon?” or “would you streak your hair with platinum without consulting your husband?”. If the reader answered yes to at least 8 of the 15 questions they were ready for Fire & Ice ❤️

With this campaign Fire & Ice became Revlon’s top shade. 70 years later you can still buy this iconic lipstick 💄 If you still need a last minute stocking stuffer for a makeup lover, this shade is available at a lot of drug stores and usually retails for $8-10.
