The Rabbit Effect by Kelli Harding ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Genre: self help This was recommended to me by a guest speaker at work. So glad I read this! To summarize the rabbit study: in a 1978 study, Dr Harding and team found that rabbits on a high cholesterol diet who were petted, hold, and spoken to regularly had less aortic atherosclerosis than those who were not. This suggests that kindness and social interaction could play a role in preventing heart disease. If you are like me and have a passion for easing the suffering of humanity, I highly recommend you check out this book. Q: what’s your favorite animal? Mine is in the comments!
