If you only add one thing to your closet this fall, make it a barn jacket. Practical, lightweight, great for layering. Here are a few of my favorites, from budget-friendly to investment-worthy 🤎

We’ve hit that point of summer where the house is filed with piles of school supplies, clothing donations, shells (and sand) from beach days…and a new basketball net waiting to be put up.

Oh and the humidity is back 🫠 Threw on some shorts and a lightweight, loose fitting top for running some errands before coming back to clean this place up. Wish me luck!

One of the coolest puzzles! 3 in 1, different and unusual shaped pieces and vivid pictures. Great for rainy summer days or just to keep kids (and adults) busy and brains working over summer break!

LOVE my new Lisi Lerch beach tag necklace. Originally was going to go with the OG larger size but then saw they just came out with a smaller version. For me, it’s the perfect size! Was able to snag my hometown before the sold out! Tons of options to choose your favorite beach!

New book for the shelf. While I may not agree with some of the cocktails (ahem, NJ’s), it’s actually quite quippy and has some great little bits of history.

Rainy day drive on MDW weekend. Foggy on the island and on/off rain. Ready for the sun to be back.

Second beach season for these glass containers (that also get use all year round). Great for storing quick beach snacks and leftovers. I also use them for work lunches.

If you suffer from sensitive or rosacea prone skin, highly recommend giving this moisturizer a try. It’s thick but absorbs really well and doesn’t leave a heavy, sticky feeling. I started with the travel size and recently just purchased the full size. Love!

A simple treat that takes about 20 mins to make and instantly makes you feel very Martha and Ina -esque.

A small homemade treat always makes the home feel warmer and more welcoming. But homemade doesn’t have to mean hard!

Canadian tuxedo reporting for duty (trick to pairing denim is different washes). Easy, “put together” outfit for a long afternoon of PT, baseball and hockey ✌️

The best Morher’s Day gift from last year. My husband took the boys to #Pandora engrave a little message on a little pendant. It’s dainty enough to wear every day…and I do!

Great gifts for moms and grandmothers!

Really hoping to host some of my closest mom friends for a Mother’s Day brunch and thinking of doing a diy bouquet bar (aka bloom bar, aka flower bar). This is one I did for my SIL’s bridal shower. There is a stand with it but we didn’t have time to put it together.

Some favorites from Amazon that are currently on sale.

Our walkway lights needed to be replaced and this pack of 12 is so reasonably priced and won’t jack up your electric bill.

Still recovering from the house being torn apart over spring break and heading right back into a full sports schedule this week with baseball M, T, Th and F and hockey on Saturday 😮‍💨 heading into Philly for work and hopefully making it back in time to catch the start of both kid’s baseball games.

Finally found a rechargeable (electric!) lighter. Never worry about running out of fuel again. I will, of course, still but cute matches for fun!

Also loving this white grapefruit candle from Lafco. Definitely one of my new favorites for Spring/Summer…no overpowering scent but can still fill a large room.

In honor of the Masters, this Friday’s happy hour beverage at home is the Azalea 🌺

It’s a beautiful bright pink like the azalea bushes along the course and also happens to be the name of the 13th hole.

If you can’t enjoy the Masters in person, whip up an Azalea cocktail (in a cute icon glass like this!) and settle in to watch on tv!

Azalea Cocktail Recipe:
-Ice
-1.25 oz vodka
-5 oz lemonade
-0.5 oz grenadine
-Cherry and lemon wheel garnish

I love the Aerin Paulette plates but $175 per plate isn’t exactly within the budget. But I do love this set of bone china that retails for MUCH less and will be getting a couple sets.
