For me, it’s a pair of flare jeans, a cute top and jacket, and a belt and coordinating pair of shoes. I ALWAYS feel comfortable in this combo, and I can change it up depending on the season. Once you find your uniform, it makes getting dressed so much easier and faster. But how? Figure out what you feel most comfortable in (and no, I’m not talking about sweats and leggings). Figure out what you feel good about wearing. It doesn’t have to be the cutest thing out there or the latest trend. It’s a combination of what fits you well and what you feel confident wearing. Is it a skirt, tank top and flat sandals? Is it a casual knit dress and sneakers? Is it a more flowy dress paired with a sling back? If you don’t know, go in your closet and try everything on until you find what you like. Don’t have anything in your closet you like? Go to a store with a trusted sales rep, or take a friend. Try as many things on as you need to and get feedback. But at the end of the day, trust your gut Once you have found what you feel confident in, then expand on it. You don’t have to buy the same item in 10 different colors. But buy things that are similar. Buy dressy versions and more casual versions. This way you will always have something to wear! Your outfit does not have to be earth shattering to be a good outfit. It has to fit you and your lifestyle. A good outfit is one that YOU feel good in. That’s where the magic lies 😊.
