Here is what I look for in a winter bootie for my toddler:

First road trip with our potty trained toddler went better than expected tbh 🤭🚽

One key for us was really working on communication before the trip. We’ve been working really hard to have her communicate and feel the need in her bladder before we get to that *immediate* need to go.

So light my husband forgot he was carrying it 🤭

We don’t own a car which means the only time we’d likely need car seats for our children are when we are traveling - either in a rental car or an Uber/Taxi.

This means having a super lightweight and compact car seat while still being safe is the perfect car seat for our situation. And this one that we have by @maxicosi_eu is exactly that ✨

While our seat is only available in the European Union 🇪🇺 - I’ve added two that are similar style from the US market.

One of the best mom hacks I’ve found when it comes to having clothes or shoes I love.

When you have young kids? Just go ahead and buy another pair after the first one gets dirty or gross.

Shirts or shoes? 👚🧢👗👟👢- Doesn’t matter it applies to them all

KEEP the dirty one and use that for your general every day use but when you want to look a little more put together then throw on the clean version.

Keep it simple stupid 😜

With two toddlers, I tend to pack for function not fashion. So keeping it simple and easy is going to be the best option for us at this time in life.

- packing cubes are the best
- sleep stuff is separate from everything else
- diapers get their own cube
