I just bought the cutest daybed/trundle that I am using in the grandchildren’s room at the new house. This gingham bed with the scalloped edge is adorable! The bed also converts to a king size bed which will be great when we have guests. The bed also comes in pink, yellow, blue and black gingham as well as several solid colors. It wasn’t hard to put together, but a little time consuming. My husband put it together by himself in about 2 hours. There were mixed reviews about whether to use a 6” or an 8” mattress, so I actually tried the 8” and it is too tall for the trundle to slide under the bed, so you definitely need the 6”. I ordered a thick mattress pad in a king size to use when we make the bed into a king size for overnight guests to make it more comfortable.
