On my walk this morning I passed a rose bush displaying the last of the seasonal blooms. The smell took me right back to a trip I took to Paris with my best friend. We were roaming the streets and happened upon the most lovely and chic perfume shop. Inside felt like stepping into another time. Possibly even another century. The details given to this lovely shop were reflected in the immensely beautiful scents they created and carried. I selected a Mexican Tuberose that’s sweet and musky with notes of clove and vanilla. So now, whenever I get a strong scent of roses I think of that trip. I’m dreaming of heading back to Paris, and have a few new places to stop into on my list.
