“Remember who you belong to.” It’s what my mom said to us nearly every time we left the house. Sure, it was a reminder to behave but it also instilled confidence. At the core of this phrase I knew there was safety and love in who I belonged to, and that no matter where I was I could also call home. Even today, it’s that way though my mom has become more of a friend to me than anything. What is something you often heard your parents, grandparents or close mentor say growing up? I’d love to know what words made a positive impact on your life. LTKCon LTKSeasonal LTKGiftGuide
