For the last week and a half I’ve been a bit under the weather. It’s taken years for me to know that this is a good sign to slow down for a bit. It’s so easy to forget that life mirrors nature and is seasonal. There are periods of growth and abundance and others in which we need to rest. It’s just as important to rest as it is to grow. So I’m curious…what do you do when you know you need to slow down? For me, it’s reconnecting with people I love. Reestablishing habits that might’ve been overlooked for some time and diving back into a hobby I love. That hobby that I’m picking back up is watercolor. I’ve set up a table to work alongside my standard work desk, so when I need a break I can easily switch over to one of my favorite forms of creativity. Any thoughts on what I should paint next?
