Ruffle Settee Luxe For Less

On the left is the Stoffer Home crafted by Cloth & Company Thelma Settee from Perigold in Relaxed Zinc.

On the right is also the Stoffer Home x Cloth and Co. Thelma Settee, but in Jane Stripe from Perigold.

While these two ruffle settees are the same exact one from the same manufacturer, the price points at the two different stores with different fabric finishes, the price points are significantly different! Personally, I love the detailing of the cheaper, striped option! Birch lane also has more striped and floral fabric options that are beautiful!

I'm so impressed by these autumn thrown pillows and throw pillow covers from Walmart! They have such a high end, designer look but are each under $19 which makes them super affordable even when buying multiple to create a layered pillow look on your sofa or bed! And with these color and pattern combos, I feel like the layering options are limitless! Don't forget to check which ones include the insert and which ones are just covers! 🤎🍂

With a cozy modern cottage vibe in, people are wanting to bring a lot of texture, warmth and charm into their bedrooms. I’ve been seeing so many beautiful designer furniture pieces lately that feature ruffles along the bottom. The most affordable, easy and quick way to bring in that cozy feel is a bed skirt! 🧺

The Modern Way

I’m not talking about grandmas bed skirts. There’s a way to do this in a very “cool” and intentional way! I think it’s super important to balance the harsh lines of a modern space with textiles that soften the room. 🪞

Decrease Visual Clutter

The most obvious way bedskirts can decrease clutter is by concealing under-bed storage! Another aspect that I’ve talked about before is how many legs are in a room so let’s say for example you have two night stands with four legs, each dresser with four legs a bunch at the end of the bed with four legs… That’s a lot of legs. In this case, a bed skirt would really help a room, feel grounded without adding four more legs for the eyes to digest. 📦

Polished Look for Less

Another major benefit is how expensive it can make your room look when in reality you just have a cheap metal bedframe. You can even swap them out seasonally to elevate your seasonal decor palette. 💸
